Genestra Black Walnut Capsules are a blend of herbs used traditionally in herbal medicine to support digestive health. These black walnut supplements contain black walnut, quassia, wormwood, and gentian root—these all contain extremely bitter compounds, including tannins, quassin, absinthin, and amarogentin. These bitter compounds cause taste bud nerves to increase the release of the saliva and gastric juices that aid digestion. Bitter compounds can also promote gastric motility.

Quassia (Quassia amara) Bark	200 mg
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) Leaf/Flower	200 mg
Sweet Wormwood (Artemisia annua) Herb	150 mg
Gentian (Gentiana lutea) Root	100 mg
Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) Seed Extract (5:1) 500 mg Dried Equivalent	100 mg
Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) Bud	50 mg

Other ingredients: hypromellose. 

Contains: Tree nuts (black walnut)

Suggested Use

Take 2 capsules 2 times daily, 15 to 60 minutes before meals, or as recommended by your health professional.
