Complete Immune is a comprehensive powdered blend of nutrients and herbs designed to support general nutrition, immune system function, liver detoxification, and provide antioxidant support. Complete Immune was originally formulated by Friedrich Douwes, MD, founder of the renowned Klinik St. Georg in Bad Aibling, Germany, and Stephen A Levine, PhD, founder of NutriCology. Dr. Douwes recognized a need for pre-care, “detox,” and post-care nutrient support as part of his therapies, and so he and Dr. Levine developed this unique comprehensive formula with a delivery system palatable for broad use.
Complete Immune has been updated to include vitamins B2, B6, B12, and folate in bioactive coenzyme forms, as well as SelenoExcell®, a selenium complex produced by yeast, and MaitakeGold 404® blend, a proprietary blend of whole mushroom mycelium powders with a unique and potent extract of maitake. In addition to this, the updated formula includes clinically-relevant dosages of lycopene as well as astragalus, turmeric, broccoli (sulforaphane), Panax ginseng, decaffeinated green tea standardized extract, and additional antioxidants. This blend is available at a fraction of the cost of all of these nutrients taken separately, and is convenient and easy to use due to its powder delivery format.

Both MaitakeGold 404® and SelenoExcell® have been clinically shown to support immune system function. MaitakeGold 404® is a proprietary hydro-alcohol extract from the maitake fruit body with optimized immuneenhancing properties. The mushroom mycelium powders use a hot-water process which releases the active compounds from the indigestible cell walls into bioavailable forms for immune support. The ten medicinal mushrooms include: reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), turkey tail mushroom (Coriolus versicolor), lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus), shiitake (Lentinula edodes), maitake (Grifola frondosa), chaga (Inontus obliquus), poria (Poria cocos), Schizophyllum commune, and Agaricus blazei. SelenoExcell® is an organically bound high-selenium compound from yeast that provides a complex blend of selenocompounds of which approximately 70% is selenomethionine. Studies suggest that the blend of selenium compounds found in food-sourced selenium are necessary for cellular-protective benefits. Although extracted from yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), SelenoExcell® is completely yeast-free.
