Sufficient amounts of both forms are needed for efficient ATP production. Normally, ubiquinone is efficiently reduced to ubiquinol during absorption or shortly after entering the bloodstream. Pure ubiquinol is solubilized in d-limonene oil and stabilized with natural emulsifying agents.
