Collagen peptides help support the maintenance of body collagen — the most abundant protein in the human body, representing 30% of total body protein — by promoting the metabolism of target connective tissue cells involved in collagen biosynthesis. Collagen provides the building blocks needed to maintain the structure and function of the muscle tissue itself, supporting the strength of bones, muscles, tendons, and cartilage, in addition to the health and appearance of skin.
