A Palatable Source of Pure, High Quality Cyanocobalamin
Vitamin B12 traditionally has been administered parenterally for chronic enteropathies and EPI. It can be challenging for clients to bring their pets in monthly for these injections. Recent studies have found that daily oral administration of cyanocobalamin will just as effectively increase serum cobalamin levels as monthly injections. Rx Vitamins proudly introduces Rx B12 Forte, in a highly palatable liquid format for easy and convenient oral administration of cyanocobalamin to your patients. The 60 ml bottle will supply a larger (>50 pounds) patient for a month, and for a patient less than 25 pounds it will last 4 months.

Suggested Use
Cats – 1/4 ml daily
Dogs less than 10 kg – 1/4 ml daily
Dogs 10-20 kg – 1/2 ml daily
Dogs 20-50 kg – 1 ml daily
Dogs > 50 kg – start at 2 ml daily for a month and recheck B12 levels and taper based on serum levels.
Daily administration for 12 weeks to achieve a steady state, then recheck serum cobalamin levels and adjust accordingly. A vitamin B12 test is recommended in order to establish safe and effective administration levels.
