White willow bark contains salicin which is a potent inhibitor of the cycloxygenase (COX-2) and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) enzymes. This NuMedica salicin supplement formula features 5-LOXIN, which contains the most powerful of all boswellic acids. 5-LOXIN® provides 12 times more 3-acetyl-11-keto-boswellic acid (AKBA) than traditional boswellia extracts.
