Vital-Plex® is a long-standing favorite in situations where undesirable microorganisms invade and multiply in the bowel. It includes Bifidobacterium lactis blended with Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, and B. bifidum. B. lactis is an important colonizing microorganism that produces large amounts of formate which favors beneficial microbiota and supplementation with this species has showm to be beneficial in supporting bowel regularity. It has profound effects on the immune system enhancing white blood cell activities as well as increasing numbers of total, helper, and activated T cells. The probiotic species in Vital-Plex® synergistically produce butyrate, acetate, lactate, and formate, lowering the pH of intestinal contents and inhibiting the growth of undesirable bacteria and yeast. Vital-Plex® probiotics produce B vitamins and enhance nutrient and mineral absorption. Together they stimulate gastrointestinal and systemic immune system function and provide support for people with occasional digestive distress.

Suggested Use
